Our stay at City Hotel Matyas was overall enjoyable. The location was perfect for exploring the city center, and the WiFi connection was reliable. Despite some minor drawbacks, we had a comfortable room with good sound insulation and a high-quality TV. The cleanliness of the room was satisfactory, and we appreciated the effort put into maintaining it. Although there were no tea-making facilities, we were still able to relax and unwind. As a solo traveler, I loved the helpful staff who called taxis and fixed room issues. They spoke multiple languages and were very funny. The room was spacious and clean, with a TV offering channels from various countries. The location was perfect, just 10 minutes away from the city center and near the Elizabeth Bridge.

The room got stuffy quickly and the windows facing the courtyard amplified sound. the building and interior spaces are in need of renovation.
